It used to be said that something was as “American as motherhood and apple pie.” But motherhood has never been held in such low esteem as it is now. For the past five decades the radical feminists have been undermining it as much as they possibly could.
Betty Friedan, the mother of the feminist movement, said, “Marriage is an oppressive institution.” Such ideas radically altered the attitude of Americans toward motherhood and marriage. But their vision brings misery, while God's design brings blessing.
