How can you tell if someone is lying or telling the truth? People have developed many different methods to try and see if someone is being dishonest or not. The polygraph, often referred to as a lie detector test, is one method of attempting to determine the truth. While these tools can be helpful, they can also be fooled.
But God cannot be fooled. He sees the heart, and knows all things. Many people who claim that they have a personal relationship with Jesus, but are they telling the truth, or are they engaging in deception as well, deceiving others—or even self?
