Where There Is No Vision

As we celebrate the beginning of a New Year, it’s important to evaluate where we are as a nation. After concluding a tempestuous election not even two months ago, is our nation headed in the right direction?

Dr. Frank Wright examines the state of freedom as a vital concern in 2017.  Dr. Kennedy warns from Proverbs that, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Why we engage in any enterprise is just as important as the fact that we do so—in fact maybe even more so. But many people today, even some professing Christians, are limping along in life without a defining purpose to guide their engagement with the world around them.

Conforming our lives with God’s purpose for us gives our lives meaning, direction, and a zeal for His kingdom. What can be done in 2017 to protect life and preserve the right of conscience and religious liberty in our nation?  As Christians, our responsibility is to cast a godly and biblical vision for the future.
