What happens when we make the statement that all religions are alike?
Sadly, to many people that statement has the ring of truth in it. These people hold to the notion that despite the manifold distinctions among them, all religions are, at base, a means to earn the favor of God. And in that basic sense they see all religions as alike.
But people who seriously advance this idea have clearly given the matter little thought or study.
