Stunningly, we now live in an America that is more open to socialism than it’s ever been. We’ve long become used to the idea that the government will help provide our health care and retirement for us, and now one of our two major political parties has seen an avowed, self-described socialist mount a serious presidential candidacy. This is something that would’ve been unthinkable even just a decade ago. But an entire generation has come along for whom socialism is acceptable. And as always, the root problems are theological. On this program, we look at the atheistic roots of socialism, and examine its theological deficiencies with Dr. Albert Mohler of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
