Lies and More Lies

Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky said it best when he issued this warning: “Above all, don't lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself, and listens to his own lie, comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love.”  And this seems precisely where we are as a culture: believing a monstrous lie and proclaiming it as though it were a virtue.  For only a truly loveless people can look away from the sacrifice of unborn babies on the altar of personal convenience.  As someone once said: “A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes.”  Well as an antidote to that, here is Dr. D. James Kennedy with his message: “Lies and more lies.”
