When an election outcome signals a possible change of direction in America, it is easy to think: “Well, with new leadership in place, all the hard work is done. Now we can go back to business as usual.”
It would be easy to say that but it would be completely wrong. There’s a temptation to put our trust in the new president and take our eyes off of God. Yet the Scripture warns us not to put our trust in princes.
